Tis the Season...

There is a chill in the air in New England! I have been wearing my ShoeSweaters for a couple of weeks now, but in this morning's 16 degrees- I was especially happy and toasty warm.

Here's the problem...

Running shoes by their very design are not meant to keep your feet warm in cold weather running. The very features that we love- mesh and sheer fabric tops- leave us with frozen toes once the temperature drops! Furthermore the falling sleet and snow soaks our socks and then it freezes.

Adding another layer of socks doesn't help- unless you want to buy another pair of shoes and size up.

Trail shoes (and their additional weight) can provide some extra warmth, but it's another pair of shoes (at a cost) and the stress of getting a great fit.

I have felt your (freezing toe) pain. Which is why I created the Shoe Sweater!
